Osteo Bi-Flex Triple Strength review

Part of getting older is taking care of your body and especially those joints. Along with proper diet, rest and plenty of high-intensity strength training, I take Osteo Bi-Flex to keep my joints in good health.

I have tried several joint supplement products over the years and this one has proven to be the best. To be honest, I did not have much luck with other glucosamine and chondroitin products even Kirkland’s Signature brand (at least on my body) and I do love most Kirkland Signature products.

Of course, your mileage may vary but it’s worth giving it a try and seeing if works for you and yours.

+ Pros:
effective and complete joint care supplement,
reasonably priced,
no stomach/digestion issues
Cons:
not a magic pill (proper diet exercise and sleep)

Some background in case anyone has similar issues as it’s a common injury: I’m 39 years old and had SLAP tear repair surgery in December 2012. It happened in July of that year while working out and I didn’t know what happened so I just continued on, then finally had it looked at when the pain wouldn’t go away and my arm started partially “locking” out of the socket if I reached a certain way. There are different levels of tears, my labrum tore off the bone across the top and was pinned/tied back during the repair. Also just from what the surgeon considered to be a history of abuse I had abraded all of the cartilage off the humeral head so there’s no more cushion on the end of the upper arm bone, and there was a lot of scar tissue and bits of blasted cartilage that was cleaned out during the surgery.

Since the surgery, I’ve gotten back a good bit function but can no longer throw overhand with much velocity or without aching for a long time after attempting to. Also I work on cars as a hobby so that often results in days of aching. Besides that sometimes even just sleeping wrong results in a dull ache that just stays there and I’m pretty sure the shoulder has started to arthritic which the surgeon said would eventually happen.

Since I started taking Osteo Bi-Flex about a month ago the almost constant dull ache is gone. I’d already tried the Kirkland and Cosamin formulations with no real results. The Bi-Flex actually sat in my cabinet for a while before I finally tried it, and when I did (one in the morning and one at night) the pain started to go within days. I haven’t changed anything I do (even did some free car work for a couple of friends last week) and I’m no longer feeling the telltale results of such work afterward. Even before I sat down to write this review I went outside and tried winging a couple of rocks, and although my aim is off my shoulder isn’t telling me I shouldn’t have done that like usual (although I’m not going to push it).

Osteo Bi-Flex is worth a try even if you haven’t gotten good results from other similar products. Costco just had a sale on it and I ordered two more bottles for myself and had four bottles sent to my parents.
